The Valsusa Filmfest, now in its 29th edition, opens its doors on Friday, March 28, kicking off a rich calendar of events that will cross the Susa Valley until June 5. The festival, always dedicated to historical memory, the environment, the mountains and social inclusion, this year is inspired by the message of peace and social justice of the Argentine singer and activist Mercedes Sosa.
On April 1 - Condove, Cinema at 09:00 pm
The documentary "No Other Land", made by an Israeli-Palestinian collective and awarded as Best Documentary at the 2025 Oscars, will be screened. The film offers a powerful and direct account of the injustices, dispossessions and violence suffered by Palestinians in the West Bank.
The film has recently returned to international attention after the attack and arrest of Hamdan Ballal, one of the directors, during an attack by Israeli settlers on his home village. An episode that has shaken the world of cinema and human rights, recalling once again the urgency of reflecting on peace, dignity and justice.
