Fraz. Constans, 10056 Oulx

The origins of the small chapel of San Bernardo in Constans can be traced back to the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. However, the building underwent an almost complete reconstruction in 1712.

Some traces of the original structure remain in the fragments of fresco paintings discovered during the latest restorations: they include depictions of Saint Michael the Archangel, Death, and fragmented scenes from the stories of Saint Bernard of Menton, created in the early decades of the sixteenth century and attributed to the so-called Master of Savoulx.
