22nd Novalesa Potato and Toma Cheese Fair – Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27.
The Municipality of Novalesa, in collaboration with local associations, is organizing the 22nd edition of the traditional Potato and Toma Cheese Fair.
Program:
Saturday, September 26
5:00 PM – At the Town Hall: Presentation conference for the Novalesa Potato logo and its *De.Co.* (Municipal Designation of Origin) protocol.
8:45 PM – Via Maestra: Round Bale Race. Team registration starts at 8:00 PM. Categories: children (up to 12 years old), women, and men. Awards ceremony to follow.
Sunday, September 27
9:00 AM – Fair Opens
Stalls selling local potatoes and *toma* cheese
Food and artisanal products
Themed lunch at the Pro Loco stand (in the multi-purpose hall) with three seatings: 12:00 PM, 12:45 PM, and 1:30 PM (cost: €12); alternatively, lunch is available by reservation at local restaurants (cost: €25, drinks not included).
2:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Opening of the Museum of Mountain Life in Val Cenischia and the *Casa degli Affreschi* (House of Frescoes).
2:00 PM – Sports field area: Gnocchi-making workshop for children.
3:30 PM – Musical entertainment featuring the Novalesa Band and the *Echo du Grenand* group from Novalaise.
Bar service, french fries, and *gofri* (traditional waffles) provided by the Pro Loco.
