The 6th edition of the MILONGA al chiaro di Luna opens on Friday, July 17th at 6:00 PM with the photography exhibition "Tangography," dedicated to Argentine Tango through the shots of Luciano Gallino, a photographer originally from Rivoli and resident in Drubiaglio di Avigliana.
For over forty years, Gallino has developed a photographic research that ranges from reportage to street photography, from portraiture to theater photography. His work on tango, created between Buenos Aires and Turin, narrates the dance as a cultural heritage, a universal language, and emotion, through images of intense narrative power.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with the painter Dovilio Brero on the project Le Chitarre Morte and with the art designer Diego Maria Gugliermetto, curated by Monica Mantelli, creating important studio photography projects. In recent years, his research has also expanded to Brazilian Carnival and artistic nudes.
The exhibition offers an opportunity to discover one of the most sensitive authors of contemporary tango photography and will accompany the public on a journey of movement, light, and passion.
Open until August 2nd on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 to 6 pm, and by reservation during the week.
