Salbertrand
On Saturday, June 27, at 4:30 pm, at the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand Natural Park headquarters at Via Fransuà Fontan 1, the newly formed Ali delle Alpi association is offering its first educational event, organized in collaboration with the Cottian Alps Parks: "Age and Moult of the Bearded Vulture."
This event will discuss feathers, moulting strategies, and the survival of this large vulture. The presentation is aimed at those who already have a good understanding of the species, seeking in-depth knowledge of its plumage.
The ADA association's mission is to research, monitor, conserve, and educate about the birds that inhabit and cross the Western Alps. The working group was formed around the study of a species that symbolizes how conservation projects can be long-term but highly successful: the bearded vulture, the bearded vulture, and the golden giant of the skies.
