Bussoleno

Friday, April 17th, at 9:00 PM at the Palaconti in Bussoleno, the fifteenth edition of the LIVE/FOR/LIFE Punk vs Cancer benefit festival will be held, raising funds for the FONDAZIONE PIEMONTESE PER LA RICERCA SUL CANCRO ONLUS in Candiolo.

The format is always the same: ALP KING, the multifaceted artist from the Susa Valley who has appeared at every edition of the festival, will kick off the live music at 9:00 PM with bands taking turns on the Pala Conti stage, where there will be no shortage of surprises and thrills.

The Wally Gators, an old-school punk band from Turin active since 1993, will kick things off with the fresh release of "We are Wally Gators," a four-track EP available on all streaming platforms.

Then Turin-born singer-songwriter Errico Canta Male will perform, accompanied by his super band of Giorgio Nieloud and Carlomagno.

CRAC RURAL CORE, a band from Bussoleno composed of members of Atropina Clan, Dialcaloiz, and WTC, is gaining a lot of popularity in northern Italy and will soon release their first LP, "Vol. 1."

DIALCALOIZ, a historic band from the Susa Valley with over ten albums under their belt, also acclaimed abroad.

Juda's Kiss, a ska punk band from Verbania, now a staple in Italy, characterized by their party-y yet committed sound, boasts collaborations with Modena City Ramblers, Lou Dalfin, and more.

Weekend Cigarettes, a melodic hard rock band from Alessandria, recently completed a promotional tour for their latest album, "Weekend Inferno," a split album in collaboration with "Verse Chorus Inferno," which saw them perform at the most important festivals of the genre in Italy and Europe.

The evening will close with MEDUSA, a historic Turin band featuring Diego Perrone (Caparezza's vocalist) and members of Linea 77. Medusa is arguably one of the most iconic bands of Savoy punk, currently on tour promoting their latest album, "Capitani di sventura."

As in previous editions, the artists will perform free of charge, and all proceeds from audience donations will be donated to the Fondazione Piemontese Per La Ricerca Sul Cancro Onlus in Candiolo.

The proceeds will be announced at the end of the evening, and the postal order, showing the amount donated to FPRC, will be published on the FMS Fck MainStream social media pages the week following the event.
