As every year, August sees the popular "Tears of St. Lawrence," the Perseid meteor shower. This phenomenon is undoubtedly the most famous meteor shower, perhaps also due to its activity during the warm August nights.

This phenomenon reaches its peak activity on the night between August 12th and 13th, and on these two dates, the FIE is offering observation of this spectacle from the top of the evocative Medieval Tower of San Mauro, from 9:00 PM to midnight.

Since the tower terrace has a maximum capacity of 12-15 people, reservations are required until August 11: info@fiepiemonte.it.
