A-vegana in Avigliana

The 2026 Sustainable Development Festival offers an engaging and inspiring experience for anyone interested in mindful eating, the environment, and animal welfare.

Here’s what’s in store:

• talks & guests: hear from industry experts and discover new perspectives on the vegan and sustainable world. Guests include: Matteo Cupi (Animal Equality), Silvia Francesca Teisa (nutritionist biologist), Maurizio Conte (pediatrician), Alberto Leonardi (Life Coach and acrobatic martial arts world champion), and Lorenzo Ferrante, Sauro Martella, and Renata Baducci (Veganok)

• plant-based street food: delight your palate with a wide variety of gourmet vegan dishes and tasty street food treats

• workshops: learn new recipes, discover culinary secrets, and join workshops for children; open yoga class at 10:00 AM, open postural class at 6:00 PM

• stalls: explore an exhibition area packed with vegan products, sustainable crafts, hobbyists, producers, and much more

• live music: acoustic duo "Voce e Corde" at 5:00 PM; 8:00 PM – Closing concert featuring hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, performed by Discomania

The two preceding days will feature other themed events held at various locations:

• Saturday the 3rd – Teatro Fassino: *Non sarò mai vegano* (I’ll Never Be Vegan) – an exploration of the issues leading to the choice of a more sustainable lifestyle; Auditorium Bertotto: *Processi Bestiali* (Bestial Trials) – a theatrical performance suitable for adult audiences

• Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th – Galleria Porta Ferrata: *Oltre il limite della Specie* (Beyond the Limits of Species) – a group exhibition
