VENAUS – AUTUMN FEST “Pòmâ dë Vènò” | Sunday, October 25.
The day will begin with a focus on nature and sport: a walk amidst the autumn colors along the "Owl’s Trail" (Sentiero dei Gufi), guided by the Pro Loco Venaus, and a cycling excursion in Val Cenischia organized by Nonsolobici Susa, with routes tailored for both cycling enthusiasts and families.
From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the "Piazza delle Associazioni" (Associations’ Square) and the Market Area will come alive with displays and sales of local products, alongside a unique pomological exhibition dedicated to traditional, heirloom varieties of local apples.
Children will also take center stage in the afternoon with the "Apples and Hands... in the Dough" workshop, followed by the laughter-filled clown and juggling performance by the group "Chien Barbu Mal Rasè."
And, of course, there will be plenty of treats for the sweet tooth!
Throughout the day, you can delight your palate with apple and *zabaione* (zabaglione) focaccia, roasted chestnuts, the famous apple fritters (*bignette*), and a warming glass of mulled wine—or enjoy special themed menus at the village’s restaurants.
