ON THE FOOTSTEPS OF BEAUTY: Poetic dendrology through the woods to the Sanctuary!

Let's put aside the rush, open our five senses, and let nature's breath guide us.

The "Ars Rubiana" Cultural Association, in collaboration with the "La Bassa" Cultural Association and the Francesco Tabusso Archive, invites you on an excursion suitable for everyone. We will discover the true guardians of our mountains: the trees. From the types of bark to the scents of the resin, every plant we encounter has a secret to share through a poetic and creative approach.

Our journey will take us to the recently restored Sanctuary of the Madonna della Bassa, where we can admire the marvelous apse painted by the master Francesco Tabusso in the 1990s!

THE PROGRAM – Saturday, July 18

9:30 AM – Meet at the crossroads of the Pascaletto village.

Followed by – Excursion accompanied by the expert and poetic narration of:

Grazia Danese (Agronomist), Giacomo Germanetto (Forestry), and Renzo Rancoita (Plant Biophysicist).

12:00 PM – Arrival at the Sanctuary and special guided tour accompanied by restorer Alessandra Putzu (Restoration Technician).

12:45 PM – Option to have lunch in the refreshment area or return on your own.

LUNCH (Optional): Those who wish can stop for lunch at Hostaria 1714 (opposite the Sanctuary) with a fixed vegetarian menu for €22 (consisting of a trio of appetizers, a first course, a dessert, coffee, water, and a cover charge; wine and liqueurs are not included).
