Every stone has its home - Self-building workshop.
In conjunction with the ongoing construction site in Borgata Trune, financed by the FOSMIT Piedmont Region tender "Interventions for the recovery of terraces in mountain areas", a training and practical day will be held on Saturday 20 June regarding the theme of the recovery of dry stone walls, the art of which was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2018.
An ancient tradition and a fundamental technique for the prevention of landslides, floods and avalanches, dry stone walls play a key role in the fight against erosion and desertification, contributing to the protection of biodiversity and promoting a sustainable balance between man and nature.
