Saturday, May 23rd: Special evening opening and Pentecost concert.
The Abbey's doors open for a unique sacred music event: "Stradivari and Choir for the Sacra di San Michele."
The Schola Cantorum Ars Nova and the Accademia Concertante d'Archi di Milano join forces for a highly evocative concert, featuring the special performance of Maestro Lorenzo Meraviglia. The evening's star performer is the precious 1730 Omobono Stradivari "Accademia" violin, along with a program ranging from Vivaldi and Mozart to Bach's Concerto in A minor.
