Venaus

Bees will be the stars of a special day in Venaus on Sunday, September 7 — an event designed for children, families, and nature enthusiasts, featuring fun, educational, and food-themed activities.

The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Venaus, local beekeepers, the Pro Loco, local associations, and the Venaus Library, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of these precious pollinating insects.

2:30 PM – Sentiero dei Gufi (starting from the cemetery square)

The afternoon kicks off with a fun Clue Hunt for the whole family!
An exciting bee-themed adventure titled "Become a Forest Guardian and Save the Queen!", created by local beekeepers to teach through play: quizzes, challenges, fun facts, and mini-games along a trail immersed in nature.

During the walk, participants will also have the chance to browse and read **bee-themed books**, selected and provided by the Venaus Library.

The day concludes with a themed aperitif in Piazza della Marghera:
the “In Yellow and Black” Apericena offers a variety of flavors inspired by the world of bees, including:

* 3 types of gofri (traditional waffles)
* Cheese with honey
* Honey ice cream
* A surprise beverage

Cost: €10 per person
Reservation required by Friday, September 5 via **WhatsApp: +39 347 7808631

Bees are essential for the balance of ecosystems and for food production. This event is a chance to discover their fascinating world, enjoy the outdoors, and reflect together on how we can protect them and live in harmony with nature.
