On Friday, October 3rd at 6:00 PM, a series of five events titled “Needle and Thread: The Power of Sewing” will begin at the "L. Ferrero" Municipal Library in Sant’Antonino di Susa. Each session will explore different themes related to sewing and/or embroidery. The first meeting will focus on needle and thread as a rehabilitative therapy, sharing stories of embroidering soldiers and incarcerated women — cases where sewing and embroidery have supported recovery or provided a means of escape.
The speaker for the series will be Gisella Viero.
The remaining events will take place on the following Fridays: October 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st.
