The Basilisk of the Susa Valley: Treasure Hunt on the Trail of the Dragon (Activity dedicated to families, from 6 years)
The Susa Valley is rich in traditions and legends, some very well known, others less so, but equally evocative and capable of leading the curious to discover the Valley through them. The itinerary “On the Trail of the Dragon” was created on the ancient belief of the presence of a Basilisk that wandered between Bussoleno, Borgone and San Giorio, which had chosen as its home a suggestive long called “Basilisk Room” where curious rock formations create a sort of closed cave.
On the occasion of the Chestnut Festival of Villar Focchiardo, through a fun Treasure Hunt, we will discover the legend of the Basilisk and the past and present life of this area. In fact, the participants will walk along the Path of Stone and Chestnut among the ancient roads of the “Pica Pera” (stonecutters) surrounded by wonderful chestnut groves.
Meeting at 02:30 pm at the parking in borgata Martinetti.
Required reservation by October 19.
