Mountain Time. ArchitetturAlpinA in Ten Stories, Saturday, September 5th at 9:00 PM at the Palazzo delle Feste.
The initiative, promoted by the Order of Architects, Planners, Designers, and Professionals of the Province of Turin in collaboration with the Alpine Arch Architects Association, once again brings a film project to the region that recounts the present and future of highlands through ten design experiences across the Alpine region. Directed by Davide Fois and Francesca Molteni, the documentary addresses key themes for contemporary architecture, from the relationship between buildings and landscape to adaptation to climate change, from the regeneration of marginal territories to the repopulation of inland areas, and the role of collective spaces and communities that live in the mountains.
The evening will be introduced by architects Emilia Garda and Paolo Giordano, Councilors of the Order of Architects, Planners, and Professionals of the Province of Turin, and by architect Alessandro Cimenti, member of the Alpine Arch Architects Association.
