Saturday, February 21, at 5:00 PM in a Sant'Antonino di Susa alla Farmacia del Sapere, Tsant'an Tsamin: A book, a project. A journey through countries, songs, and nature. A journey through the Franco-Provençal language. will host the presentation of the book celebrating 10 years of walking in the Susa Valley, edited by Marco Rey and Flavio Giacchero.
This publication celebrates ten years of walking through the Cenischia, Susa, and Sangone valleys. At the heart of the project is the encounter between the villages: traditional oral song becomes the unifying element that binds the participants' steps along the trails. On this journey, the Franco-Provençal language is not just memory, but a living reality that has found in the regulations protecting linguistic minorities the fundamental support for its preservation and promotion as a native language.
The book brings together a decade of explorations through music and discovery, demonstrating how walking and singing together has forged deep bonds, transforming the valorization of the territory into an experience of human sharing.
