As part of the "Sosteniamoci – Demenza e Alzheimer. Conoscere e conoscersi per sostenersi" (Let’s Support Each Other – Dementia and Alzheimer’s: Understanding and Self-Awareness for Mutual Support) initiative, a new "Café d’Autore" event will take place on Friday, October 9 at 4:30 PM at the Oulx outpatient clinic.
The featured guest will be Gianna Coletti, author of the book *Mamma a carico. Mia figlia ha novant'anni* ("Mom in My Care: My Daughter Is Ninety"), published by Einaudi.
Through the story of the relationship between a daughter and her elderly mother, the author addresses the themes of caregiving and family dynamics with a blend of humor and sensitivity, offering food for thought on the experience of caring for elderly parents who are no longer self-sufficient.
The event offers an opportunity for dialogue and discussion with the author, allowing participants to explore—through storytelling and personal experience—issues that deeply affect many families.
