On Saturday, June 21 and on Sunday, June 22 the historical commemoration of the Battle of the Alps of June 1940 is scheduled. The association that organizes the event was born with the aim of promoting historical studies and research regarding the war events of June 1940 in the Alta Valle di Susa, in particular the events that saw the highest fortified battery in Europe as the protagonist: that of Chaberton, at an altitude of 3,130 meters.
