An excursion on the Foresto Juniper Trail immersed in an extraordinary natural landscape: marble banks, Mediterranean plants, all dominated by the peak of Rocciamelone. There is no lack of human presence, who has been able to bear witness to past life by leaving traces of it. Terraces, ancient dry stone walls and meadows once cultivated and grazed. Now these areas are invaded by downy oak, wild cherry and blackthorn, but the characteristic is certainly the presence of the oxycedrus juniper.
Excursion aimed at recognizing the oxycedrus juniper (Juniperus oxycedrus).

Meeting at 09:00 am at the church of San Giovanni Battista in Foresto.
