Ars Rubiana offers a journey to discover Agliè Castle, a jewel of our region that has endured centuries and continually transformed!
From the first stones laid in the 12th century by the Sanmartino dynasty to the current monumental structure—comprised of historic halls, splendid greenhouses, gardens, and an enchanting park—the Castle is the result of four major construction periods.
State property since 1939 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, Agliè is part of the famous "Crown of Delights" of the Savoy Residences. A place so perfectly preserved that it has also captivated the general public as the exceptional setting for beloved TV series such as Elisa di Rivombrosa, Maria José, and Beauty and the Beast.
When: Friday, August 7
Where: Ars Rubiana/Dino Campana Library - Rubiana
Speaker: Luciana Colet
