IncontrArti... "Feet in Art" conference with Maurizia Cavallero, a graduate in Medicine and Political Science, author, poet, and president of the cultural association Spaziocultura, at the "F. Tabusso" municipal art gallery (Piazza Roma) in Rubiana on Saturday, July 4th at 4:00 PM.
Often considered a "secondary" or purely functional body part, feet actually have a long and rich iconographic tradition. In the history of art, painting or sculpting a foot has been used to communicate social status, humility, a profound connection with the earth, or spiritual elevation.
