On July 26 and 27, the picturesque mountain town of Claviere will host the third edition of the "Mercatino del Dahu," an event that aims to showcase the artistic, food, and wine excellence of the Upper Susa Valley. Born from a joint initiative of the then-board of the Pro Loco di Claviere and Pubbli&co, the Mercatino del Dahu represents an exceptional showcase for the region's unique characteristics.
The event's name is inspired by the Dahu, a chimerical animal from Alpine folk tradition, known for its ability to adapt to steep mountain slopes, a perfect symbol of the resilience and uniqueness of our valleys.
The heart of Claviere, the central Piazza Via Nazionale, will come to life from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, until 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27. Numerous top-notch exhibitors will create a high-impact visual marketing campaign, with carefully curated stands and high-quality products. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a wide variety of offerings, including food and wine delicacies, art objects, wooden sculptures, organic products, and unique artisanal creations.
The Dahu Market is more than just a market: it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local traditions and excellence, celebrated through art, flavors, and the evocative Alpine setting of Claviere.
