The reasons behind human mobility
Friday, October 3, 2025, 4:30 PM
Cascina Roland – Via Antica di Francia 11, Villar Focchiardo
On the occasion of the 111th World Day of Migrants and Refugees promoted by the Holy See, a special meeting will be held with Sofia Borri, exile and daughter of Silvia Roncoroni, an Argentine desaparecida in 1978. As a witness and refugee, Sofia will share her luminous story of hope and life.
It will be a moment of listening and dialogue on the value and courage of migrant stories, an opportunity to rediscover the possibility of rebuilding one’s identity, honoring historical roots and integrating them with ethical awareness.
Following the meeting:
* Aperitif
* Opening of the photo exhibition “Insieme,” curated by Giulio Ameglio and Roberta Ravizza, featuring images of reception paths in the Susa Valley for unaccompanied minors and young foreigners.
