Bardonecchia

A fascinating journey through the historical memory of the area and the secrets of the Alpine fauna. From 2 to 8 August, the Melezet hamlet will host the "Il Folletto delle Rocce" event, a double cultural and scientific event that combines a photographic exhibition with a special nature-themed evening.

The initiative, included in the cycle "Dran k'lä sië tro tar – Fragments of memory of Bardonecchia stories", is carried out with the contribution of the Piedmont Regional Council, the Metropolitan City of Turin and the Municipality of Bardonecchia, in close collaboration with Assomont and with the support of many "enthusiasts".

The photographic exhibition (2-8 August)

The heart of the event will be the photographic exhibition curated by Paolo Marre, Alessandro Perron and Marco Granata. An exhibition of unique shots capable of describing the beauty and fragility of the mountain ecosystem.

When: from Sunday 2nd to Saturday 8th August

Hours: every day from 2.30pm to 6.30pm

The thematic evening: "Wild Ghosts" (Friday 7 August)

The highlight of the week will be the conference dedicated to one of the most elusive and fascinating animals of our mountains: the ermine. Under the title "Wild Ghosts: who are stoats and why it is important to study them", the evening will offer the public a unique opportunity to discover the biological secrets and ecological importance of this small high-altitude predator.
