The Sestriere Pro Loco, in collaboration with the Municipality of Sestriere and Sestrieres S.p.A., is organizing an "Ecology Day" on Thursday, May 21st, aimed at cleaning up the various public areas of the hill and surrounding villages.
The meeting is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. at the Sestriere Pro Loco headquarters on Via Louset. Each participant will be given collection materials (garbage bags, brooms, rakes, gloves). In the morning, the various group leaders will bring participants a sandwich and a drink for refreshments.
A second Ecological Day will follow on June 18th, which will also include grass mowing in municipal areas.
After the second Ecological Day, a thank-you lunch will be held, open to all those who contributed to one or both of Sestriere's Ecological Days.
