On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Liberation, the Unione Montana Valle Susa is promoting the now traditional "Camminata di Valle" (Valley Walk), which will once again take place on the evening of Friday, April 24.
The walk will begin at 8:00 pm from Piazza della Repubblica in Chiusa di San Michele and will end in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino, in Piazza 25 Aprile. At the end of the procession, the Chiusa di San Michele band will accompany institutional speeches by the President of the Unione Montana Valle Susa, Pacifico Banchieri, the Mayors of Chiusa di San Michele and Sant'Ambrogio di Torino, Riccardo Cantore and Silvano Barella, and Ferruccio Sbodio and Enzo Boglio, presidents of the ANPI sections of Chiusa di San Michele and Sant'Ambrogio di Torino, respectively. Speeches by the members of the Treno della Memoria (Memory Train) will also be given.
