On Saturday, October 24, at 5:30 p.m., the "Enrico de' Bartolomei" Civic Library will host a presentation of the book *Incroci di strade, incroci di storie* ("Street Intersections, Intersections of Stories") by Pietro Quaglino, published by Laterza.
Pietro Quaglino—a distinguished physician from Turin with a calling for narrative literature—takes us on a journey through space and time, moving between the present and the past. Drawing inspiration—cleverly—from the names of streets in Turin, he connects the lives of prominent historical figures. In doing so, he creates unexpected, often chronologically impossible and startling juxtapositions—yet ones that remain entirely plausible in terms of the ethical stance and values shared by all the protagonists of these ten stories.
