On Sunday, June 29 the charming village of Bastia will host the third edition of “Il giardino dei miei silenzi”, this year entitled “Il mare nel mio giardino”. The initiative, promoted by the FAI – Delegazione della Valle di Susa and the FAI Giovani, celebrates the poetic and silent art of Tino Aime, an artist from Val di Susa with extraordinary sensitivity and a deep connection with the landscape and memory.
Starting at 10 am, the public will be able to immerse themselves in the widespread exhibition “Il mare nel mio giardino”, which can be visited from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
The narrated visits in the village by FAI volunteers, starting every hour (at 10 am, 11 am, 12 am, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm), will offer a guided and engaging reading of the installations and places, allowing you to discover the most intimate and symbolic details of Tino Aime’s creative universe.
At 5:45 pm the day will be enriched by a concert by the Crescendo Cello Orchestra, curated by the Istituto Musicale Somis.
Finally, at 6:30 pm, there will be a wine tasting of the Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Valsusa, to testify the link between art, territory and food and wine tradition.
