Eleventh appointment with the International Asteroid Day, a day of awareness on the problems related to asteroid impacts.
The date of the Asteroid Day – made official by the General Assembly of the United Nations1 – commemorates the asteroid that fell on June 30, 1908 in Siberia, in Tunguska2.
Also this year, as always, the Associazione Astrofili Segusini proposes a dedicated evening that will be held on Friday, June 27, from 9:15 pm, at the Castello della Contessa Adelaide, with access from Via Impero Romano, 2.
