On Saturday, March 1 at 08:45 pm at the cinema in Condove the director, photographer and mountaineer Gabriele Canu will present his documentary "Sadpara", which won the award for best film in the mountain culture category at the New Zealand Mountain Festival and the MH filmovy Festival, as well as obtaining special mentions from the jury at the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival and the Graz Mountain Film Festival.
An immersive journey into the heart of the Pakistani mountains, between the peaks of Karakoram, G4 and K2, exploring the daily life of a small community with deep roots and a clear character. An intense and engaging story that leads the viewer to immerse themselves in a mountain culture as harsh as it is fascinating, where each shot is the result of an experience lived first-hand, through villages, mountain pastures, roads, moraines, animals and humanity. After spending over a month in the mountains of Pakistan with a video camera in his hands, Gabriele Canu has given shape to this project with thousands of hours of work, transforming snapshots of a journey into an authentic and touching story that highlights the indissoluble bond between a community and the high lands it inhabits, giving body to the soul of these places and these people.
