The Valle Susa Tesori App is an innovative service dedicated to tourists using smartphones and tablets.
It is a complete and clear database, which indicates the points of interest accessible with thematic division (Sacred Art, Fortifications, Environment, Archaeology, Material Culture), the services and the event calendar. The application contains a map of the Valley with georeferenced points, allows for the identification of points of interest based on location and distance, and employs augmented reality. It is a product fully synchronized with the website, able to meet data completeness principles, and simple to use. The languages supported by the interface are Italian, French, and English.
As part of the same project, QR codes for all cultural sites in the valley have been created. A specific application included in the app allows the reading of QR codes and the opening of specific sheets from the website.
The app was distributed via iTunes and Google Play in the summer of 2014.
