Fraz. Celle, 10040 Caprie

The building is one of the oldest in the Susa Valley and one of the few equipped with a crypt. As early as the year 100, the presence of hermits associated with the charismatic figure of Saint Giovanni Vincenzo, considered one of the main founders of the Sacra di San Michele, was documented in the area. The crypt, perhaps carved from an ancient shrine, housed the saint's remains; it dates back to the 11th century and is accessible from the presbytery. It has a simple structure with cross vaults set on rough stone columns.

It features Romanesque fresco decorations depicting the Virgin and the symbols of the Evangelists. The imposing and massive bell tower, with regular pilasters, is attached to the religious building, while a short distance away, the hermit's cave where the saint lived at the end of the 9th century is also visitable.
