None, 10050 Meana di Susa

In Meana, on the occasion of the celebrations for the patron saint San Costanzo (September 18), the bran, large conifer branches made with a tapered frame about 3 meters high, covered with red paper and decorated with flowers, ribbons, and fruits, are carried in a procession. The two bran are carried by the young people of the village, accompanied by the priors, to the churchyard of the saint's chapel where they are slowly waved, according to an ancient propitiatory dance whose memory has been lost, but which is related to ancient fertility rituals of the earth.
