The traditional "Svoida el lac" trout fishing marathon returns to Lake Losetta in Sestriere on Saturday, September 12th.
From 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, participants can fish non-stop for salmon trout; the goal is to reduce the fish population, thereby increasing the chances of survival for the remaining fish during the harsh winter. Participants will be divided into two categories: "Pierini" (up to age 14) and Adults.
The registration fee is €20 for everyone. Equipment rental is available on-site for a special price of €5. All trout fishing techniques are permitted, but the use of meat-based groundbait is prohibited.
At the end of the event, at 4:00 PM, prizes will be awarded according to the respective categories.
The event is organized by Lago Losetta Sestriere in collaboration with the Sestriere Sport Center.
