Flor Summer in Bardonecchia

A full day dedicated to nature, among flowers, plants, crafts, and food specialties, immersed in the greenery of a magnificent Alpine setting.

This is the promise of FLOR Estate, returning for the ninth year to Bardonecchia, in the heart of Piedmont's Susa Valley.

The free event is scheduled for Sunday, July 12th, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the central Via Medail, the heart of the town.

There will be approximately 50 exhibitors from Piedmont: horticulturalists with their fragrant and vibrant seasonal delicacies, as well as small farmers and artisans, for a festival that celebrates nature in all its forms.

Typical mountain plants will be found, along with more traditional offerings to meet everyone's needs and tastes: summer-flowering herbaceous perennials, carnivorous plants, cacti and succulents, violets, indoor and outdoor green plants, aromatic plants and chili peppers, as well as Australian shrubs, bonsai, and much more.

Alongside plants and flowers, Nature will take on other forms: from rose and wine cosmetics to lavender-based products, from home and garden furnishings to bamboo clothing and accessories, from mineral bracelets to eco-resin trays, and many other handcrafted beauty products.

Walking along Via Medail, you'll also find tasty food and wine offerings thanks to the presence of small producers with their "natural" delicacies such as honey and hazelnuts, Caraglio garlic and cured meats, dried ginger, and artisanal biscuits, as well as aromatic and medicinal herbs, spices of all kinds, herbal teas, and infusions.

As always, mountain liqueurs will be given pride of place, starting with genepy, the spectacular Alpine liqueur, which will have its own special moment: during the day, a genepy tasting will be held, attended by some local producers. This will be an opportunity to officially present the new edition of Genepy Day, which Orticola del Piemonte will organize in Turin next winter.

Over the years, FLOR Estate Bardonecchia has become an unmissable event for nature lovers and lovers of its floral and food excellences, as well as for vacationers seeking relief from the city heat and enjoying some of Piedmont's finest nursery products in the mountains.
