The 2025 edition of the Giro d'Italia sees Sestriere as the finish line of the penultimate stage, on May 31, the Verrès - Sestriere - Vialattea.
It is the 20th stage, of High Mountain, which is run over the distance of 203 km starting from Verres (Valle d'Aosta), Col del Lys, Colle delle Finestre (Usseaux), Cima Coppi, and arriving at 2035 meters of Sestriere. A decisive stage: whoever wears the Pink Jersey on the podium in Sestriere will be crowned the following day in Rome as the winner of the Giro d'Italia.
