Located at the entrance to the Susa Valley, along the Dora Riparia, Sant’Ambrogio di Torino can be considered the antechamber of the Susa Valley mountain area. The symbol of the area is the Sacra di San Michele, visited by thousands of tourists every year. In the town you can appreciate some valuable medieval buildings, such as the Abbatial Palace, the city walls, the Palazzo del Feudo and its tower, but also the Dogana tower and the 11th century bell tower. Sant’Ambrogio is also a town active in the kitchen and owes part of its recent fame to the Paste ‘d Melia ‘d Sant'Ambreus, which are the protagonists of the Meliga Day, whose sixteenth edition is scheduled for Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September.
