7th Day of the Archaeological Heritage of the Susa Valley

“Valle di Susa. Tesori di Arte e Cultura Alpina”, in collaboration with the Superintendence archeology, fine arts and landscape for the city metro of Turin organizes the 7th day of the Archaeological Heritage of the Valley of Susa, Sunday, September 25. The archaeological sites throughout the Valley will be open and accessible, with the possibility of free guided tours. This year's theme is "The fire".


The sites listed below will be open Sunday, September 25 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 02:30 pm to 06:00 pm:

Almese, the roman villa and the ricetto of St. Maurus

Avigliana, the archaeological site of Malano, the church of St. Bartholomew and the dinamitificio Nobel 

Bardonecchia, archaeological park “Tur d’Amun”

Borgone Susa, “The Maometto” and the romanesque chapel of St. Valeriano

Caselette, the roman villa and the ancient aqueduct

Chianocco, the neolithic site of the Orrido 

Chiusa San Michele, chiuse and the chapel of St. Joseph

Condove, the Castle of Conte Verde and the church of St. Rocco, the forge Col

Novalesa, the Abbey and the Archaeological Museum

Oulx, the Tower of Dauphin

Sant’Ambrogio di Torino, the medieval village and the castle of the abbey

Susa, the archaeological sites 

Vaie, the Laboratory Museum of Prehistory
